Week 1
May1 AUDITIONING WITH A FOCUS ON ETIQUETTE
Basic audition techniques concentrating on communicating and
interviewing with agents, casting director's and director's and general
preparation.

Week 2
May 8 AUDITIONING WITH A FOCUS ON COLD READS
Basic audition techniques concentrating on interpreting and delivering
in a short period of time.

Week 3
May 15 ACTING FOR THE CAMERA WITH AN EMPHASIS ON COMMERCIALS
Learning techniques to make yourself stand out when auditioning for
television commercials and basic information involved when hired.

Week 4
May 22 ACTING FOR THE CAMERA WITH AN EMPHASIS ON CORPORATE FILMS
Learning techniques to make yourself stand out when auditioning for
corporate films and basic information involved when hired.

Week 5
May 29 TELEPROMPTER AND EARPROMPTER
Learn fundamentals using a teleprompter and earprompter

Week 6
June 5 IMPROV
Strengthen improv skills and learn to use them in a scene or audition

Week 7
June 12 COMBAT
Learn fundamental combat skills including basic hits and falls

Week 8
June 19 SCENE STUDY-SCRIPT ANALYSIS
Learn how to break down a script to enhance auditions and
scenes

Week 9
June 26 SCENE STUDY-COMEDY
Learn fundamental comedy technique

*July 4th falls on a Wed so no class that week

Week 10
July 10 SCENE STUDY-IMPROV
Use improv skills as applied to scene work

Week 11
July 17 SCENE STUDY-DRAMATIC
Learn fundamental dramatic technique with an emphasis on
crying on cue

Week 12
July 24 GUEST SPEAKER
Interview with guest to be determined


INSTRUCTOR'S
Abby Elzemeyer studied acting at Interlochen Arts Academy and NYU focusing on
the
Meisner technique.
Phil Darius Wallace recently returned from LA with 20+ years acting experience.
Currently
producing and directing independent films.
Combat and Prompter class instructor's to be announced.
