CROSSROADS FILM SOCIETY PRESENTS: GLORIOUS MAIL
The Crossroads Film Society and Hal & Mal's Red Room presents a screening of the award-winning Mississippi-made mockumentary "Glorious Mail" on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. in the Red Room at Hal and Mal's, 200 South Commerce St., Jackson, MS.
"Glorious Mail" is about a New York filmmaker who travels to the town of Sinnaville, Mississippi to shoot his thesis documentary about a flamboyant antique dealer and the community's reaction to his controversial new mailbox. Filmmakers/actors J.D. Evermore and Alice Walker and other local actors and crew will be in attendance. Mid-South actors and musicians (who may or may not attend) in the film include: Turner Crumbley, Johnny McPhail, Ritchie Montgomery, Jeannette Comans, Pia Marola, Forrest Pruett, the Taylor Grocery Band, and others.
