My documentary "Memphis Muck" -- featuring Muck Sticky, El Dorado and the Ruckus, Taco & da Mofos and Mr. Safety -- screens at Muvico at Peabody Place at 8:30 pm Monday.
This amazing production (yes, I am shameless) is a half-hour roller-coaster ride of music, interviews and zaniness. Along with some great licks, there's commentary by Muck Sticky, El Dorado del Rey, Matt Danger, DJ Natty Batty, Robert 'Taco' Moore, Charlie Eaves and Mr. Safety (who does some penis shtick, so leave the kids at home).
Go here for the trailer -- a one minute and 49 second sampler of the wonderfulness you'll see.
But wait, there's more!
After the doc, and on the same ticket, is a screening of "Delusions," a powerful story by director Robert Saba with Muck Sticky and his sidekick Hollywood in roles like you've never seen. Tickets are $6.50 for both and you can park in the Peabody Place garage and get your parking ticket stamped when you get your festival tickets.
